Removing a Component 

Use

Use the remove function to delete components from the project XML files of the respective tab and from the deployment descriptors.

The Removeoption is not available when you work in the Deployer tab.

Procedure

       1.      Choose the component from your DLP project.

       2.      From the toolbar, choose the Remove option.

When working in the J2EE Components tab, you can also choose from the menu J2EE Components → Remove.

       3.      Save your entries.

Project saving is critical for this function to work. Save the project to keep the changes.

Result

The component and all its properties are removed from the application, the Deploy Tool and the deployment descriptors.
