Logging 

The procedure for tracing and logging a Java Web Dynpro application follows the concept of the Web applications developed in the J2EE environment.

Procedure

To create a logging configuration file for the project, proceed as follows:

       1.      In the Web Dynpro Explorer, place the cursor on the project name.

       2.      Choose the context menu entry Create Log Configuration File.

       3.      The file log-configuration.xml is assigned to the project in the Web Dynpro Explorer.

       4.      To edit the configuration file, place the cursor on the relevant file name and choose Open Log Formatter in the context menu.
