Using a Public Part 

Purpose

This is an example of how you can use public parts to add dependencies and synchronize the used development components (DC).

Procedure

       1.      Create a Portal Application Standalone DC project.

       2.      Add a Portal Application Object.

       3.      Define the dependencies between these DCs.

       4.      Synchronize the used DCs from the Design Time Repository (DTR) to the local file system.

Result

You have created a Portal Application Standalone DC, added dependencies, and synchronized the used DCs.
