Syntax

SYNCALLDCS

Syntax

syncalldcs [-s compartment] [-m mode] [-y] [-c DC archive cache root] [-b buildVariant] [--syncused]

Arguments

[-s compartment]

If this option is not specified, all compartments of the development configuration are considered.

[-m mode]

This argument can take the following values:

active - sync DC from active source state.

archive - sync DC as archive.

inactive - sync DC from inactive source state.

In case no synchronize mode is specified, the tool will determine the synchronize mode that fits the compartment automatically.

[-y]

Confirms that a synchronization will take place.

If the concerned DC has already been synchronized in a different synchronization mode as specified in the current synchronization, the DC will be unsynchronized first.

The DC will be synchronized even if its content is up-to-date.

[-c DC archive cache root]

Denotes the root of a DC archive cache for the configuration. The DC archive cache can be used instead of the Component Build Service for DC archive synchronization.

[-b buildVariant]

If no build variant is specified for a DC archive sync, then all build variants defined in the compartment are considered.

[--syncused]

If this option is specified then for each DC to synchronization it will be checked if its used DCs have been synchronized.

In case a used DC has not been synchronized yet, it will be synchronized as an archive, provided that it is not in the set of the DCs to be synchronized.

Description

Synchronizes the specified compartment(s) to the local disk. A development configuration must be already imported or loaded.
