Purpose

In this step, you manage the changes that are submitted (that is, checked in) to the Component Build Service (CBS).

Prerequisites

You have administrative privileges in the CBS.

Process Flow

Using the CBS, you do the following administrative tasks:

...

       1.      Release the changes for consolidation.

       2.      Consolidate the changes.

       3.      Create a new software component archive (SCA) for the application from the consolidated changes.

       4.      Import the SCA into the Test system.

       5.      Approve the transported changes.

       6.      Import your application into the Production system.

       7.      Import into the Follow-On Track.

Result

You have successfully managed the changes that were submitted to the CBS.
