You need to have a Deploy Tool project (a file with a .dlp extension) to use the Deploy Tool functions. This Deploy Tool project is referred to as the DLP project.
When you save your project, the Deploy Tool creates a project folder with the same name in the directory where you saved the DLP project file. In this folder, you can find all files that were generated during the work process.
When you save the project file under a different name, a project folder with the new name is created and the content of the original project folder is copied within it.
When you choose Save As for application components created with the Deploy Tool, they are saved at the new location together with the whole project and the project files. When you choose Project → Save As, for application components loaded to the project file, the Deploy Tool just creates a link to the location from which they are loaded at the new location.
Choose Project → Save. When you save the project for the first time, enter the data as required in the File Chooser Window.
Do not use your file browser to change the name of a DLP project file or a project folder.
