Function documentation Display of Performance Data for Users  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

The tree node Users displays performance data for the various users. This enables you to identify the users who are encountering performance problems.

Prerequisites

You have administrator rights for the J2EE Engine or for SAP Enterprise Portal. If you do not have administrator rights, you can only access a small part of the monitoring information.

Features

You obtain information about the

·        Number of calls performed by a given user

·        First timestamp for the user

·        Last timestamp for the user

·        Average time used

·        Accumulated times for a user

On the tab page Top Users by Calls the data is sorted according to the most calls.

On the tab page Top Users by Time the data is sorted according to the users who took the most time.

In this way you can find out about the times needed by the various users.

Activities

Open the Web Dynpro Console from the Welcome page of the J2EE Engine with the URL http://<Host Name>:<Port Number>/webdynpro/welcome by selecting Web Dynpro Console.

Alternatively you can open the Web Dynpro Console from SAP Enterprise Portal by selecting System Administration    System Configuration and then in the detailed navigation Web Dynpro Console.

To display the data, navigate in the Admin menu to the node Performance  Users .
