Navigator 

The Navigator provides an overview of the projects of all perspectives of the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio The Navigator is a tool provided by Eclipse. The Navigator is the second default view that is displayed along with the Web Dynpro Explorer when you open the Web Dynpro perspective: The following is a summary of its most important functions.

The Navigator displays all files generated by the Web Dynpro Generator as well as those you created manually. In the Web Dynpro perspective, the Navigator displays all Web Dynpro projects you have processed, provided you have not removed them from the development environment in the meantime. The display of the Web Dynpro projects is independent of whether the directories and files of the Web Dynpro project are physically in the file system or whether the project was imported.

You start the view using the Navigator tab on the left of the screen or by choosing Window → Show View → Navigator from the menu. For each project, this view displays the storage location of the individual directories and files in the file system. You can open and edit a file by choosing the relevant context menu entry.

Additional Project Views

As well as the Navigator, there are two other project/file views in the Web Dynpro perspective, the Web Dynpro Explorer and the Package Explorer. The Web Dynpro Explorer is an SAP tool, while the Package Explorer is a tool provided by Eclipse.
