Receiving E-Mail Notifications

Use

You can receive e-mail notifications when a wiki page or a space is modified.

Prerequisites

If you want to receive e-mail notifications, the administrator has to add your e-mail address to your user account, otherwise you cannot receive any e-mail notifications.

Procedure

You can manage your preferences for e-mail notifications by choosing My Stuff  Preferences from the menu bar. If you want, you can modify them and then save your changes.

By default there are two preferences that are set for e-mail notifications.

You can change your e-mail notifications by choosing My Stuff    Email Notifications from the menu bar. There is a list of your watched items and if you do not want to receive any further e-mail notifications, you can remove them. When you select the checkbox to the right of the list and choose Remove Selected Notifications button, you can stop the e-mail notifications.

If you want to receive e-mail notifications about the modification of a space or wiki page, proceed as follows:

1. Navigate to the wiki page or space that you want to be informed about.

2. Choose Receive email notifications in the Actions box.

Note that if you do not want to receive any further e-mail notifications, you can choose Stop e-mail notifications in the Actions box.
