Deactivating Personalization and Customizing

Use

If you want the option to deactivate personalization and customizing at runtime, you can deactivate these functions for a Web Dynpro application, an application configuration, a Web Dynpro component, or system-wide for all Web Dynpro applications.

The built-in functions will be deactivated.

Procedure

Deactivating Personalization and Customizing for the Whole Web Dynpro Application

  • You use parameter WDDISABLEUSERPERSONALIZATION to deactivate personalization.

    You can set this parameter for a Web Dynpro application or for an application configuration.

Deactivating Personalization and Customizing for a Web Dynpro Component

  1. Start the configurator for the relevant Web Dynpro component.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation pathEdit Next navigation step Configuration DataEnd of the navigation path, and enter Not Allowed for Web Dynpro built-in configuration data.
