I am a Sales Executive

My primary purpose is to act as main point of contact for my assigned customers and prospects to achieve their overall revenue goal. In order to achieve this, my tasks include the creation of an account / territory plan with all internal stakeholders that outlines how to achieve the right pipeline coverage in order to meet revenue targets. As a Sales Executive I am responsible to identify, qualify and win opportunities, develop and drive strategy.

My Key Tasks are to:

  • Plan, conceive and implement sales campaigns to net new names and existing customers in close alignment with internal marketing team
  • Work with SAP sales teams to build campaigns together as joint initiatives
  • Coach the partners sales team on the methodology used to sell to customers
  • Manage presales and implementation teams to achieve a successful customer rollout of an SAP project
  • Support the customer through all stages of the deal from opening conversation to close and renewal. Sales Executive are usually also responsible for hand-over to delivery
  • Gain knowledge and qualification on SAP solutions and strategy so they are familiar with the product and roadmap to cross sell and upsell
  • Understand their chosen industry well enough to be able to talk to the customer in their language
  • Understand SAPs partner infrastructure so they can find training and other content quickly and easily
  • Understand the competitive landscape from alternative vendors to SAP and partners so they can position the correct SAP solution to the customer

My Areas of Expertise include:

  • Knowing how to position the SAP solution portfolio to customers
  • Understanding competitive solutions
  • Understanding the SAP Partner ecosystem and which products can be sold to who and at what margins.
  • Specialist industry knowledge for chosen verticals
  • Prospecting and opportunity creation
  • Building business cases for CEO and other C-Suite members and becoming a trusted advisor
