The Qualifications Subprofile The
Qualifications
subprofile creates a relationship between the following objects and a qualification:
Persons
External persons
Applicant
Users
Companies
Contact persons
The
Qualifications
subprofile enables you to map the abilities and skills of the above-mentioned planning objects on the basis of the type of skill involved, and the degree of proficiency. The qualifications catalog is used to create this subprofile.
You should use the
Qualifications
subprofile to edit, manage, and evaluate the qualifications stored for an object. You can compare the requirements and qualifications of objects against each other and thus establish whether objects are suitable (for example, persons for positions) or whether qualification deficits exist. For more information, see
Profile Matchups
.
Note
You can call up the profile matchup between persons/users and the positions they currently hold directly from the subprofile. For more information, see Performing Profile Matchups .
Your qualifications catalog must contain entries, otherwise you will not be able to create a
Qualifications
subprofile. For further information about creating and changing the qualifications catalog, refer to the Implementation Guide (IMG) for
Personnel Development
under

You can import qualifications (that is, transfer them from one person to another person, for example, or from a position to a person).

You can specify a validity period for every qualification.
Note
You can enter comments (notes) for every qualification.
User name

You can also create a
Qualifications
