This app lets you respond to the freight orders that ordering parties have sent you. You can respond by confirming a freight order, rejecting it, or – if allowed – confirming it with an alternative price. You can also send details about the drivers and the vehicle that will execute the freight order.
On the worklists (New, Responded To, All), you can see a summary of each freight order, and by clicking on one you can see its full details.
Make sure that you respond to a freight order within the response time that the ordering party specified. If a freight order is set to Confirm Automatically: Yes, it will confirm itself at the end of the response time, unless you’ve rejected it. Note, freight orders based on the freight request for quotation process don’t have a remaining time.
Great! You’re now ready to start using the app.
Until the remaining response time runs out, you can respond to a freight order by confirming or rejecting it. Or, if the ordering party allows you to, you can confirm it with an alternative price. You can also respond multiple times so you can confirm a freight order that you previously rejected.
Check the details of the freight order by clicking on it in the worklist to display the details view.
Optional: To support your response, provide notes and attachments that will be sent to the ordering party when you respond. To do so, go to the Notes and Attachments tabs in the details view.
Optional: If you already know which drivers and vehicle will execute the freight order, add their details. To do so, go to Drivers and License Plate tab in the details view. If you don’t have this information, you can provide it later by sending an update.
Click Confirm, Reject, or Confirm with Change.
What happens next? By confirming a freight order, you've agreed to execute it. If you proposed an alternative price that’s too high, the ordering party may simply cancel the freight order. If you want to clarify any details, you're recommended to contact the ordering party directly.
Click on the freight order in the worklist to display the details view.
Provide the information and click Send Update.
The ordering party decides how long you have to respond.
If the freight order is set to Confirm Automatically: Yes, the freight order will accept itself when the remaining time runs out, unless you reject it.
Alternatively, if the ID of a freight request for quotation is displayed, this means that the freight order is the result of the quotation process and it doesn't have a remaining response time.
