Security Aspects for Front-End UI Services

Use

As far as the front-end services provided by user interface (UI) add-on for SAP NetWeaver are concerned, SAP recommends that you follow the security concepts of the reverse proxy you are using. If you are using SAP Web Dispatcher as the reverse proxy, the SAP Web Dispatcher security aspects apply.

Implementation Considerations

In addition to the security aspects mentioned above, SAP recommends that you use HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) to secure the connection between SAP Web Dispatcher and front-end UI services.
