Importing an Offline Package

Context

You have obtained a content package in the form of a ZIP file and want to import this to a repository. You use this procedure to import KM content delivered by SAP to your repositories, for example.

Procedure

In the top-level navigation area, choose Content Management Content Exchange and then choose Package Upload from the detailed navigation area.
Enter a name, and enter the path to the ZIP file in the field File . You can also use the browse function to find the file.
Choose Upload .

The system uploads the ZIP file to the ICE repository and imports the content directly to the target repository.

The ZIP file is displayed in the ICE repository with a file size of 0 bytes. This is only a temporary entry.

Note

No target path can be entered when importing an offline package. The files are placed at the same location as in the syndicator's system. The same repository must exist in the subscriber's system.
