Approval Process Monitoring

Use

You can display information about documents that are subject to an approval process.

Features

The following functions are available for monitoring documents that are subject to an approval process:

  • Details dialog box

    While a document is in the approval process, the author (or another user with write permission) can use the Details dialog box to display information on the users that already approved the document and the current approval step for the document.

  • Status management report

    The status management report provides various selection parameters for searching for documents that are subject to an approval process. For example, you can generate a list of all documents that have the status For Approval .

  • Application log

    If you require more precise information such as the date and time of the approval, you can analyze the application log.

Example

The example below shows some settings that you can use to display status changes for documents in the application log with the date, time, and user name:
