Settling Agent Without Own Commission Contract

Purpose

The rules for determining commission are subject to the commission contract and consequently also to the commission contract typeto which the agent without his or her own commission contract was assigned.An example of this is the commission contract for the cooperation partner who employees the agent.

Financial Accounting:

In Financial Accounting (FI-AP) you need to create one-time customer accounts .

Collections/Disbursements:

In Collections/Disbursements (FS-CD) you need to flag these accounts as being different payment recipients.

Human Resources Management:

It is not possible to settle the agent without his/her own commission contract in HR-PY (payroll) payment system.

Process Flow

You can use this process to post an agent without a commission contract (agent) in the BP role Agent in Incentive and Commission Management and do the settlement in a disbursement system.

Prerequisites

The commission system must contain the number of the commission contract and the number of the business partner in the BP role Agent.

Process Flow

  1. The system transfers the bank details through the commission case process by means of the business partner number.

  2. The commission contract information for the agent is transferred to the settlement run.

  3. The system checks in the commission case process whether the commission contract number and business partner number are valid together.

  4. If the bank details or the address data are not complete, you can update this information while in the commission case without the need for reversing the settlement run. This is made possible by the transfer mode using the BDT.

  5. The system transfers the commission contract number and business partner number to the settlement so that commission can be calculated and transferred to the specified bank account. A different commission for the agent is not supported.

    The settlement procedure is the same for agents that do not have their own contracts as it is for the settlement run .

Part-time agents

A part-time agent receives a commission as a result of a signed business deal. Since there is no business relationship with this agent in the form of a commission contract, and further signed deals are not expected on a regular basis, you create and settle this agent in the BP role of Agent.
