Cache Service

Use

The cache service manages the caches used in CM.

Integration

The repository managers, services, and other software components receive required caches from the cache service.

Parameters of the Cache Service

Use Clustered Cache Counter	No	In a load-balancing environment, the local caches for the individual nodes must always be validated against the database (see System Landscape Service : Parameter Cluster Caching Timeout). The clustered cache counter further reduces the database by cumulating the devalidation information in system with a large number of nodes (more than 10). This parameter is activated by default.

Activities

The cache service is preconfigured. Do not change the settings. To call up the cache service, choose Content Management → Global Services → Cache Service.
