To ensure that only data no longer relevant is destroyed, certain conditions must be met. The write program performs relevant checks to ensure that these conditions are complied with.

The system executes the archivability checks for the following parameters:

  • The country grouping of the personnel number is checked against the country grouping entered on the selection screen of the write program.

  • If the earliest master data change date (IT0003) is earlier than the Destroy Until date, an error message is generated and the personnel number is rejected for destruction.

  • If the recalculation date for the plant data collection (PDC) of the infotype Payroll Status (0003) is earlier than the latest Destroy Until date, an error message is generated and the personnel number is rejected for destruction.

  • If the Substitutions (2003) record has end date greater than the Destroy Until date of the selection screen, it is not selected for destruction.
