You can use the archiving object HR: Qualifications (HR_QUALI) to destroy qualifications data. In particular, the relationships between personnel numbers and qualifications, as well as the proficiencies of the qualifications are destroyed. This data is to be regarded as personal data in terms of data privacy. Therefore, for data privacy reasons, it may be necessary to destroy this data after the defined retention period has been reached.

The archiving object destroys other dependent data. To display a complete overview of the relevant database tables, choose DB Tables in Archive Administration (transaction SARA).

Prerequisites

You are familiar with the basics of data destruction and have made the following settings in particular:

  • You have activated Information Lifecycle Management (ILM).

  • You are familiar with the functions for ILM policies and rules and have defined the retention rules for the archiving object.
