You can use the HR: Military (HRTIM_MIL) archiving object to destroy all types of military/non-military service infotype data. The absences linked to the military/non-military service infotype data is also destroyed using this archiving object.

Military data is to be regarded as personal data in terms of data privacy. Therefore, for data privacy reasons, it may be necessary to destroy this data after a defined retention period has been reached.

This archiving object destroys data from the following infotypes:

Infotype

Description

PA0081

HR Master Record: Infotype 0081 (Military Service)

PA2001

HR Time Record: Infotype 2001 (Absences)

Note Note

The archiving object destroys other dependent data. The archiving object also includes country-specific database tables. Data from these tables is only destroyed in a data destruction session if data for this employer exists in these database tables.

To display a complete overview of the relevant database tables, choose DB Tables in Archive Administration (transaction SARA).

  • You are familiar with the functions for ILM policies and rules and have defined the retention rules for the archiving object.
