Background documentationChecks for HRRCF_REQ

To ensure that only data that is no longer required in business processes is destroyed, the write program performs the following checks:

  • The status of a requisition needs to be Closed or To Be Deleted.

  • The applications and candidacies associated with the requisition must not have the status In Process.

  • If there is a destruction lock on a requisition, the data is not destroyed.

  • The following applies if there is more than one candidacy for an application, that is, if multiple requisitions are associated with an application:

The original requisition must remain in the system and cannot be destroyed until all other requisitions that are associated with the same application have reached the end of the retention period.

  • Forwarded applications need to remain in the system until all candidacies (both original and forwarded) reach the end of the retention period. Only then can you delete all related data: Original candidacy, application, candidacies from forwarded applications, requisitions, and postings.

  • The start date of a requisition must be on or before the selection date (Select Data Until field) provided on the selection screen.
