Start Reporting Program (CA-TS)

 

The standard reporting program RCATS_ARCH_READING (Calling Archived Time Sheets) can be used to display and control archived data records for archiving object CATS_DATA.

Prerequisites

To call up archived data, the archiving run and the index creation must be completed.

Activities

  1. On the initial screen of the Archive Administration (transaction SARA), enter archiving object CATS_DATA and confirm your entry.

  2. Choose Read.

  3. The Archive Administration: Start Read Program screen appears.

  4. Determine if the reporting program should run in the dialog box or in the background. The standard reporting program for the CATS_DATA archiving object is already preset.

  5. If you select the batch mode, enter the archive selection as well as the start date and spool parameters. Remember that it makes no difference if you select one or more than one archive file under archive selection. In the selection, all archived time sheet data is always considered irrespective of which archive file it is saved in.

  6. Choose Execute.

  7. The Calling Archived Time Sheets selection screen appears.

  8. Enter the selection criteria according to which you want to select the archived time sheets.

  9. Choose Execute.

Result

You then receive an overview of the the data you selected with the following information:

  • Personnel Number

  • Date

  • Processing Status

  • Document Number

  • Counter
