Working with the BRF

Use

To work with the BRF, you use the BRF Workbench. Enter transaction BRF to call the BRF Workbench.

The BRF Workbench is an application-neutral editing interface, similar to the ABAP Workbench. In the BRF Workbench you can create, change, or display all BRF objects.

  Here you can find a description of how to create, change, search for, or delete the main BRF objects (event, expression, action, rule, rule set, context). There is also a description of how to switch on or switch off a rule set.

  Here you can find a description of the additional functions that are available for processing BRF objects.

  This includes:

  • Display of all BRF objects of an application class and an implementing class

  • Check on all BRF objects of an application class

  • Managing a favorites list

  • Display of a network graphic for an event

  • Where-used list for expressions and actions

  • Display of documentation on individual object types
