Creating Rules for a Rule Set

Prerequisites

  • You have created the rule set (see Creating BRF Objects).

  • You have created the expressions and actions that are needed for the rules.

Context

You can create one or several rules for a rule set. In doing so, you create each rule of a rule set for a specific event.

Procedure


  1. In the context menu of the rule set for which you want to create rules, choose Change.

  2. The other steps are identical to steps 2 to 8 described under Creating Rules for an Event. The only difference is that here you must specify the event with each rule.

Results

  • With each event for which you create a rule in a rule set, the system displays this rule in the maintenance of the event (see Creating Rules for an Event).

  • To enable the system to process the rules of a rule set in the application, you must activate the rule set.
