Setting a Custom Theme for NWBC

In the NWBC configuration, you can set a custom theme for all users of the client or for connections restricted to cockpits or roles.

Prerequisites

The theme must be stored in the same client as the client you use for the configuration.

Procedure

  1. Start transaction /UI2/CUST.
  2. Open the tree node SAP Netweaver Business Client and execute the IMG activity Assign Parameter Values.
  3. Switch to edit mode.
  4. Select Start of the navigation pathEdit Next navigation step New EntriesEnd of the navigation path.
  5. Provide the following:
    Option Description
    Filter You can make your theme available for all users of the client or restrict access by specifying a role or cockpit.

    Enter one of the following:

    • Enter * to define that the theme is applied to the whole client.
    • Enter a role name to define that the theme is applied for all users of a specific role.
    • Enter a cockpit name to define that the theme is applied for all users of a specific cockpit.
    Parameter Name Enter the parameter THEME.
    Value Enter the ID of your theme.
  6. Save your entries and exit the transaction.
