Symbolic General Ledger Account

Replicate symbolic general ledger account master data inbound to SAP Fieldglass from SAP S/4HANA Cloud or SAP S/4HANA

Context

SAP S/4HANA Cloud or SAP S/4HANA instance provides the Symbolic General Ledger Account object.

To replicate the Symbolic General Ledger Account object, in SAP Fieldglass create a connector variant and a subscription to process the data upload.

Procedure

  1. On the Configuration Manager Self-Service Dashboard, choose the Connectors tile.
  2. On the Connector List page, choose the Connector Catalog tab.
  3. Locate the 'G/L Account Upload' connector version 'API-A-V1.0', and click the connector name hyperlink.
  4. On the connector Integration page, choose Edit (or if the connector is disabled, choose Enable to enable it).

    The Connector Setup page opens in the setup wizard.

  5. Follow the instructions below and in the setup wizard to configure the connector, choosing Next to advance through the setup pages.

    1. In the Connector Name field, enter a custom name, for example MDI G/L Account Upload - variant 1.

    2. In the Upload Data Format option, choose JSON.

    3. In the Pre-Processor list, choose insite.partner.preprocessor.JsonToCsvPreProcessor.preProcess, as shown next:

  6. Create an end point as shown in the following image.

  7. Create a subscription as shown next, making sure to add the Argument one_mds_wbs.

  8. Run the subscription or enable it to run continuously.
