Capabilities
Replicate capabilities master data inbound to SAP Fieldglass from SAP SuccessFactors.
Prerequisites
Context
The tasks associated with setting up capabilities replication include enabling connectors, creating new end points and subscriptions, and running the subscriptions, for the following entities:
WorkforceCapabilityProficiencyScale = Qualification
WorkforceCapabilityProficiencyScale = Flexible Assessment Scale
WorkforceCapabilityCatalog = Qualification Category
Procedure
- On the Configuration Manager Self-Service Dashboard, choose the Connectors tile.
- On the Connector List page, choose the Connector Catalog tab.
- Capability Catalog Replication:

Search for the 'Qualification Category Upload' connector, version 'API-A-V1.0', and then click the connector name hyperlink.

Choose Enable.

On the connector Integration page, choose Edit (or if the connector is disabled, choose Enable to activate it).
The Connector Setup page opens in the setup wizard.

Follow the instructions below and in the setup wizard to configure the connector, choosing Next to advance through the setup pages.

In the Connector Name field, enter a custom name, for example MDI Qualification Category Upload.

In the Upload Data Format option, choose JSON.

In the Pre-Processor list, choose insite.partner.preprocessor.JsonToCsvPreProcessor.preProcess.

Choose Next until the Connectivity step displays.

In the Connectivity step under Transfer Method, choose Subscription.

In the Configure End Point step, choose Create New and add an end point from the MDI service key that has been shared by an admin:

In the ID field, enter the end point ID, for example, MDI_WorkforceCapabilityCatalog.

In the Category list, choose Webservice.

Under Web Service Details, enter the required Web Service URL. Username and Password are optional.

On the bottom of the page, click + Add Additional Fields and add the following fields:

To create the end point, choose Submit.

Choose Next.

In the Setup Subscription step, choose Create New.

In the Setup Subscription dialog box, follow the instructions in the setup wizard to create with the following details:

Delivery Time
Series of selections that set the scheduling for the subscription. Note that multiple values can be selected in the boxes using CTRL- or SHIFT- clicks. Set this subscription to run once daily.
Time Zone
Choose a value for where the subscription runs.
Status
Choose Enabled.

- To save the subscription, choose Save.
- Repeat steps 3–4 for the 'Qualification' and 'Flexible Assessment Scale' entities, using the following values:
