Alignment Tools Toolbar

Use

The Alignment Tools toolbar is used to perform actions on selected objects or on the entire scene to determine their alignment in the viewport.

Features

Using the toolbar you can perform the following actions:

Toolbar Option

Functional Description

Align Left

Aligns the object or objects to the left.

Align Centre

Center-aligns the object or objects.

Align Right

Aligns the object or objects to the right.

Align Left to Right

Aligns the object or objects from left to right.

Align Right to Left

Aligns the object or objects from right to left.

Align Top

Aligns the object or objects to the top of the viewport.

Align Middle

Aligns the object or objects to the middle of the viewport.

Align Bottom

Aligns the object or objects to the bottom of the viewport.

Align Top to Bottom

Aligns the object or objects top to bottom in the viewport.

Align Bottom to Top

Aligns the object or objects bottom to top in the viewport.

Distribute Horizontally

Distributes the selected objects horizontally in the viewport.

Distribute Vertically

Distributes the selected objects vertically in the viewport.

Center Horizontally

Centers the selected objects horizontally in the viewport.

Center Vertically

Centers the selected objects vertically in the viewport.

Activities

To activate the toolbar, do one of the following:

  • Choose Start of the navigation pathMenu bar  Next navigation step Window Next navigation step Toolbars Next navigation step Alignment ToolsEnd of the navigation path

  • Right-click menu bar and choose Alignment Tools

  • In the Customize Layout window, choose Toolbars and select the Alignment Tools checkbox.
