Creating a Query
Use
There are a number of steps involved in creating a query, which can be summarized as follows:

By default, a new query always contains a statement. Initially, give the statement a name.

To this statement, add the required filters, to select specific objects.

Add the appropriate actions to perform on the selected objects.

Run the query.
Activities
To add a query:

Do one of the following:

Click Select Objects on the Scene panel, and navigate to the Query tab.

Press F3 on your keyboard, and navigate to the Query tab.

Choose New Query.

Select your initial scene setup and enter the details for the first statement if required, by double-clicking the statement name.

Add the required filters to the statement.

Add the required actions to the statement.

Click Run Query to run the query. In the top right hand corner of the statement, information is provided about the number of objects selected from the total number of objects present, and the number of actions performed.
