Reduce Model Window

Use

After a reduction is processed, you can select differing reduction amounts until the optimum reduction is reached. You then apply the reduction to the selected objects. As a guide, most models can be easily reduced to a level of 20% without any leaving any visible artifacts.

There are three methods for selecting the amount of reduction:

  • Using the Real-time Reduction slider

  • Entering percentage values in the Remove %, Keep %, and Keep Triangles fields

  • Using the 10%-100% buttons

The dialog buttons differ depending on whether you’ve already established the reduction settings and processed the reduction.
