Messages Window

The Messages window displays status, warning, and error messages relating to the current file. For example, the status information such as the file version, author, and revision date for individual files. Any files that are required to open a file, and which cannot be found, are also displayed in the window. For example, material, texture, and DLL files

Individual messages icons indicate the message type:

  • Error

  • Information
  • Warning

Activities

Displaying the Messages Window

Do one of the following:

  • Choose Start of the navigation pathWindow Next navigation step MessagesEnd of the navigation path from the menu bar.

  • Double-click in the status bar.

Copying Information to the Clipboard

To copy the log information to the clipboard:

Click Copy to Clipboard in the window.
