Rotating a Pivot Point

Use

You can use the Rotate Pivot Point tool to rotate the selected objects' pivot points relative to the selected axis. When the Rotate Pivot Point tool is selected, you can then rotate the selected objects' pivot points by dragging them within the viewport.

Rotating a pivot point can be performed on one axis only at one time.

Activities

Rotating the pivot point of selected objects:

1. Select the objects that you want to move.

2. Open the Tool Assistant and display the available Rotate Pivot Point settings by choosing Rotate Pivot Point .

3. Establish your settings as required, in the Tool Assistant

4. Move the cursor over the objects' axis, and then drag the object
