Orbit Tool

Use

You can use this tool to rotate models and roll the camera in the 3D viewport. When you rotate a model, the camera moves around a point of rotation (focal point) to orbit the scene. The focal point is the location of your cursor in the scene. When you roll the camera, it is moved around the viewing axis.

A label is displayed in the upper, left corner of each 3D viewport showing the angle of object rotation as they are being rotated.

Note that regardless of the selected navigation mode, pressing R and dragging in the viewport rotates the model; left+right-clicking or middle-clicking and then dragging in the viewport views the scene from a different angle; pressing the LEFT and RIGHT ARROWS pans the scene; right-clicking and dragging in the viewport scales the scene; pressing the UP and DOWN ARROWS trucks the scene.
