Discarding Changes

Context

Using ECTR integration, you can unlock originals in SAP PLM, discard changes, and close the original in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author.

Cancelling a document check-out changes its status to AC (Accessible), according to the current configuration (DType.xml).

Procedure

Choose Unlock Originals in SAP PLM, Discard Changes, and Close Originalsl from the ECTR toolbar.
  • Choose Yes to proceed.
  • Choose No if you wish to save the file locally.

Results

Edit mode in SAP ECTR is canceled. Changes made locally to the the original are discarded. The original is re-opened from SAP ECTR in Display mode.
