Leaders Tab Page

Use

The Leaders tab page in the Edit Callout Profile window determines the line styles used in the callouts. You can also use this tab page to determine whether the callouts contain extensions to the callout leaderlines.

Features

The Leaders tab page offers the following features:

Elements	Functional Description
Units	Defines the type of leader line unit: 2D, Points (1/72 inches) 2D, Millimeters: Specifies the unit in the Scene properties
Appearance	Defines the type of leader head to display on the callouts: No Leader Head: Displays a plain leader with no head Point Leader Head: Displays a point leader head. Selecting this option makes the option Point Radius available to determine how the arrow is drawn. Arrow Leader Head: Displays an arrow leader head. Selecting this option makes two further options available to determine how the arrow is drawn. Invisible Line: Displays no leader head.
Arrow Height	Defines the height of leader arrow. This option is made available when the Appearance field value is set to Arrow Leader Head.
Arrow Width	Defines the arrow width
Point Radius	Defines radius of leader point. Note This field displays only when the Appearance field value is set to Point Leader Head.
Line Width	Determines the thickness of callout lines
Halo Scale	Draws polylines on top of a thicker solid line using the background color. As the line width changes, the halo scales so. The halo value is a numeric value.
Dash Pattern	Denotes the appearance of the line. That is, whether it is a solid or dashed line. Leave this field empty to produce a solid line, or select a comma separated list of numbers to produce a dashed line.
End Style	Specifies the appearance of the line ends. Butt: The lines ends butt up against each other. Round: The line ends are rounded.
Leaderline Extensions	Specifies whether leaderlines contain extensions in the scene. A Leaderline extension is a single line that extends from the leaderline to the callout. Edit: Opens the Leader Extension window, and allows you to edit the characteristics of the leaderline extensions.
