Menu Bar
Use
The menu bar is located directly under the main window title bar. The menu bar uses standard Microsoft Windows conventions, and includes a panel that controls the layout of the user interface. The available commands differ depending on the scene selection, the current format, the selected display renderer, the graphics card installed on your computer, and the File and Folders Explorer display. Others only become available if the current 3D file is animated.
For example, if you have a 2D file open and the History list displayed, the File menu commands, Merge File, Search Active Folder, and Go To Folder commands are inactive. However, if you have an animated 3D file open and the Folders panel displayed, all commands are active. Many of these commands are global, and override the viewports commands. For example, if you display a viewport in the Wireframe render mode and another viewport in the Line Illustration mode, selecting the Solid render mode from the Display menu displays all viewports in Solid mode.
