Objects and Materials

Use

Models can comprise a number of scene elements including objects, materials, sounds, and so on. The Scene panel displays all components of the current scene in a tree-view hierarchy.

There are many object types including cameras, lights, markups, primitives, and parts. Objects can be comprise multiple sub-objects and can have materials applied to them.

Materials are composed of composite layers and reflect the material properties. They are designed to principally reflect those attributes associated with maps and applied textures, rather than color or scalar variables.
