Snapping Source and Target Objects Together

Context

To snap source and target objects together, proceed as follows:

Procedure

  1. Select a source object in the scene and rotate it to the required position.
  2. Select a target object in the scene.
  3. Select the required snap type; for example, edges, and then select the appropriate edge on the source and target objects.
  4. Check the preview and choose Confirm to finalize the snap.

Isolating the Source and Target Object

Procedure

  1. Select your source and target objects.
  2. Select the Isolate checkbox in the Tool Assistant
