Batch Render 3D Files Window

Use

You can use the Render 3D Files command to render and convert 3D files, up to a maximum of 25, to the 2D format of your choice.

The Batch Render 3D Files window displays all the 3D files that are located in the current folder, from where you can select the ones you want to convert.

Functional Description

Save as Type

Selects the type of format in which to save the files

Settings

Opens the Export Properties window for the selected file type to establish settings for the file

Overwrite Existing

Selects the action taken if the file to convert already exists in the destination folder

  • Replace: Overwrites the existing file

  • Ask: Opens a confirmation window when a file already exists from where you can decide the action to take

  • Skip: Retains the existing file

  • Rename: Renames new files if a file of the same name exists in the destination folder

Save In

Selects a destination folder for the files

To same folder

Saves all files to the original folder

Camera Position

Used to select a camera position for the view when the scene is rendered

  • Default view: Sets the default camera position. That is, it uses the camera view from the original file

  • Active camera in current scene: Sets the active camera position in the current scene

Available scene camera

Uses the camera properties from the current scene

Zoom factor

Uses the slider to scale the scene from its original size when rendered

Render Options

Opens the Properties window for the selected display renderer, and is used to change the render output details

Select All

Selects all displayed files

Clear All

Clears all files from selection

Render

Renders all selected files to the specified format
