Saving as a New Document

Context

You can save a document, (original and document info record), as a new document directly from SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author.

Procedure

  1. Modify your document as required, and choose Save original as a New Document in SAP PLM from the ECTR Integration toolbar.
  2. Edit the settings in the SAP ECTR Copy As window, if required, and choose OK.

Results

The new document is saved, and the new original is displayed in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author.
