Appearance Actions
You can use the appearance action options to perform actions on objects that affect their appearance. For example, you can assign a specific highlight color to all the nodes that you have selected. You can select one or many object actions, from the following options. Descriptions of each option are detailed in the table below:

Assigns opacity to the selected objects. Opacity from 10 - 100% can be selected from the dropdown menu. |

Opens the color picker and allows you to assigns a highlight color for the selected objects. Intensity from 10 - 100% can be selected from the dropdown menu. |

Remove Highlight from Objects |
Removes any highlight color from objects matching filters in a query statement |

Opens the Select Material dialog box, and allows you to assign a material by name to objects |
If you select the Material option, the following action selections can be made in the Select Material dialog box:

Diffuse Color for New Material |
Opens the color picker and allows you to set the color of the diffuse light that is reflected in a scene. Diffuse reflection is at its greatest when the light strikes a vertex parallel to that vertex normal. As the angle of reflection increases, the effect of the diffuse reflection diminishes. The amount of light reflected is the cosine of the angle between the incoming light and the vertex normal. |
