Attributes Tab Page in Standard Layout

Use

In this tab page, you can edit the attributes and appearance of the selected object. This tab is disabled when multiple objects of a different type are selected. You can edit the selected object's properties and characteristics.

Features

Following are the different elements and their descriptions:

Elements	Functional Description
Attributes	Closed: Prevents sub-objects of the selected group from being individually selected. That is, the entire object group is selected when you select any sub-object in the viewport. Note This does not apply to selecting objects using the checkboxes in the Scene Components panel. Selectable: Allows you to select the object in the 3D viewport Immovable: The selected object cannot be transformed
Appearance	Render Method: Selects the render method of the object Render Order: Selects the render order number for the scene. Objects are rendered in ascending orders. We recommend that render layering is kept to a minimum, as a large number of layers can affect performance. Opacity: Determines the opacity of the object. As you reduce the opacity value, the object becomes more transparent.
Material Replacement	Indicates the material or materials associated with the object, and allows you to make replacements
