Note Tab Page

Use

The Note tab page is available when you display the properties of a selected note. Here, you can modify the text and link information of the note, and you can use the Tool Assistant to modify the font type and line color of notes.

Features

Following are the different functions and their descriptions:

Elements

Functional Description

Note Description

Displays the text that is associated with the note, and is used to enter further text

User name/timestamp

Displays the details of the user, date and time of note creation

Link

Used to define any links that are attached to the note. Following are the different fields and descriptions:

  • URL: Enter a URL address to attach to the note.

  • Model View: : Link to a specific model view.

  • Step: Link to a particular step.

Enter and edit associated metadata for the note

Activities

To open the Object Properties window, do one of the following:

  • Double-click the note in the viewport, 3D Objects list or Layers list.

  • Highlight the note, then right-click the note in the viewport, 3D Objects list or Layers list, and select Object Properties.
