Favorites Menu

Use

The Favorites menu allows you to add frequently opened files to your favorites list for easy access.

Files are added either to the default application folder or to folders that you create yourself. You can then rename them and open your favorite files quickly. Favorites folders and files are deleted manually as described below. The method depends on the version of SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author you are using. You can also create, rename, and move folders, and rename and move favorites files using the Favorites list.

Activities

Adding a File to Your Favorites

  1. Choose Start of the navigation pathFavorites Next navigation step Add File to FavoritesEnd of the navigation path from the menu bar.

  2. In the Add to Favorites window, enter a name for the file and file path if you require and do one of the following:

    • Select the folder to which you want to add the file

    • If you want to add the file to a new folder, choose New Folder, enter the name you require and then select it.

  3. Choose OK. The current file and file path are added to the folder.

Deleting Your Favorites Files

Navigate to C:\Users\[user name]\Application Data\SAP\SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author xx and delete the favorites.dat file.
