ECTR Integration Toolbar

The SAP ECTR interface to SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author is embedded into SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author as the ECTR Integration toolbar.

Features

Using the toolbar you can perform the following actions:

Toolbar Option

Functional Description

Open ECTR

Create a new document

Load an original from SAP PLM and open it

Save an original to SAP PLM and continue editing the original

Request an exclusive lock in order to edit the original

Save and unlock the original in SAP PLM

Save the original as a new document

Unlock originals, discard changes, and close

Import CAD files from the session into new documents in SAP PLM

Display document of the current original

Create a new original and document as a dependent document of the current original

Display the assigned BOM

Display the assigned material

Load an original from SAP PLM and add it to the current scene

Activities

To activate the toolbar, do one of the following:

  • On the menu bar, choose Start of the navigation pathWindow Next navigation step Toolbars Next navigation step ECTR IntegrationEnd of the navigation path

  • Right-click menu bar and choose ECTR Integration
