Exporting to Tabbed .TXT File
Prerequisites
The following prerequisites apply when exporting to a tabbed .txt file:

Key names must also contain Categories (full path) to enable import back

Values are separated with either “,” or “;”, depending on windows locale
Context
SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author exports the visible contents of the Metadata Browser. In addition, the file contains one extra column. This column is labelled: Unique ID’s, and it contains either Generator IDs or Internal IDs so that objects can be identified later on import.
Procedure
Choose 
on the Metadata Browser toolbar to export the current content of the Metadata panel to a tabbed .txt file.
