Data Reset

The Data Reset app in SAP Master Data Integration enables you to delete all data of a selected business object type in SAP Master Data Integration while preserving the object type's configuration. Use this app when you need to completely remove all records of a specific business object type, such as WorkforcePerson, from the system.

Prerequisites

To access this app, your system administrator must assign the dedicated authorization role (MasterDataOrchestrationAdmin) to your user.

- Tablet

Perform Data Reset

Choose the business object type you want to reset in the list.

Note

By default, the list of business object types having data in SAP Master Data Integration in any of the compatible versions is shown. If you cannot find the business object type you are looking for, press All Object Types to remove the filter.
On the next screen, select the version of the business object type you want to reset. The reset will affect the version listed in the Latest Object Version column as well as all versions listed in the Compatible Object Type Versions column of the selected row.

Label	Meaning
Business Object Type	Fully qualified One Domain Model (ODM) name (for example, sap.odm.finance.ExchangeRate)
Latest Object Version	Latest ODM version of the selected entity for the current landscape (for example, 4.0.0)
Compatible Object Type Versions	List of all compatible versions, semicolon (;) separated (for example, 3.0.0; 4.0.0)
Number of Records	Number of Object Instances present in MDI per compatibility class
Last Modified Date	Represents the Date and Time in UTC format when the last instance is created/modified.
