Providing Collaboration Services in the Portal
Use
As administrator, you can make available a company-specific range of collaboration services for collaboration in the portal.
In this way, you determine for the following iViews which services users can launch:
- Collaboration Launch Pad (CLP) and Room Member List (Collaboration menu)
- User Details iView (links to the user interface of the iView)
- Other iViews that display users or user groups with the context menu for launching collaboration services
Prerequisites
After installation of the SAP NetWeaver usage type Enterprise Portal, you have worked through the basic configuration for Collaboration. For more information, see: Collaboration Configuration .
Procedure
Making collaboration services available comprises the following activities:

1. Copy the relevant configuration objects to a new namespace. |
The configuration objects delivered by SAP are documented in Making Services Available: Standard Configuration . Since the system overwrites all commands and command groups in the SAP namespace during every SAP NetWeaver update, you must note the following information:

2. Decide on the scope of the collaboration services that you want to make available in the iViews. |
