Work With Allocation Favourites

You can save allocations as favourites and reuse them so you do not have to create them each time.

Create a favourite

To create an allocation favourite:

  1. Open the invoice that has the allocations that you want to use as a favourite.

  2. Click Distribute > Distribute Selected Items. The Distribute Selected Items window appears.

  3. Click Add to Favourites. The Add to Favourites window appears.

  4. Enter a name for the allocation favourite and click Save. The system adds the allocation to your favourites, which you can see if you click Favourites.

Use a favourite

To use an allocation favourite:

  1. Open the invoice for which you want to use the allocation favourite.

  2. Select the desired itemisations.

  3. Click Distribute > Distribute Selected Items. The Distribute Selected Items window appears.

  4. Click Favourites.

  5. Click the favourite allocation that you would like to use. The selected itemisations are allocated as per the favourite.

Remove a favourite

Over time, allocation favourites will become incorrect or obsolete.

To remove favourite allocations:

  1. Access the favourite as described above in Use a favourite.

  2. Click the red X icon next to the name in the Favourites list.

Edit/Replace a favourite

You cannot edit a favourite but you can replace it.

To replace favourite allocations:

  1. Open an invoice that has the desired allocation, or allocate an invoice.

  2. Create a favourite as described above, except when naming the favourite, use the existing name. The system will confirm that you want to overwrite the existing favourite.
